Develop Strength, Power, and Explosiveness

Strength, Power & Explosion develops the force-production qualities that support speed, acceleration, jumping, change of direction, and sport performance. Training is coached progressively and guided by the athlete’s CAP results and individual development priorities. More than 1,000 athletes who have trained with Carlisle Performance have gone on to earn Division I college scholarships.

Dr. Devon Johnson

Parent

We started working with Dr. Johnson’s daughter when she was a middle school soccer player who wanted to improve her speed due to a lack of explosiveness on the soccer field. Through consistent attendance at training sessions, not only did she improve her speed, agility and quickness, she was also able to move up a level of playing competition within her club.

Kayla Shimada

Program Graduate

Kayla is a basketball player who wanted to work on her first step quickness and lateral movement so that she could blow by defenders and keep offensive players in front of her. As a result of the athletic improvements she made in S.P.E., she had her best season ever.

Have Questions? We Have Answers

Coach Carlisle oversees the SPE system and is involved in the program, but sessions are coached by the Carlisle Performance training team.

Yes. Your CAP results identify your individual training priorities. Within the 1:4 small-group setting, your coach uses those priorities to guide exercise selection, progression, and coaching emphasis.

Maximum 1:4 coach-to-athlete ratio.

Recommended training frequency comes from your athlete’s CAP results and Athlete Development Blueprint, based on their goals, sport schedule, and overall training load.

Yes. You will need to create a separate user account for each child. Book the class under your child’s email and name — every class has to be booked separately.

This is managed on a case-by-case basis. If you try to book a middle school child into a high school program or vice versa, the system will not allow this. Please contact Carlisle Performance to arrange this.

SPE operates Monday through Saturday. Check current session availability when you book.
