CARLISLE ATHLETIC PROFILE (CAP)
The Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP) was developed by Master Strength and Conditioning Coach Duane Carlisle, in conjunction with leading PhDs in kinesiology and exercise physiology.
CAP scientifically identifies the weaknesses, imbalances and deficiencies in an athlete that negatively impact strength, power and explosion. Data points are then created that allow our coaches to target, train and track these weaknesses throughout the program, turning them from negatives into positives.
All athletes are required to complete our CAP assessment prior to attending the Strength, Power and Explosion Program!
CAP is paramount to your success in the Strength, Power and Explosion Program and is not available in any other program, any where else in the world.P

After you have completed your CAP, you can begin attending the Strength, Power and Explosion Program (please note that CAP counts as your first session in the school).
Our Strength, Power and Explosion Program is designed to address four main areas athletic performance – strength, power, explosiveness and recovery/injury prevention. You know, the things that take you from someone struggling to compete, to someone who excels in their sport…and doesn’t have to deal with nagging injuries or fatigue.
Two training sessions a week is all it takes. After taking your CAP, we will recommend how many weeks your training program should be, but regardless, training just 2 days a week in our system is all you need.
Here’s a closer look at how we’ll make you stronger, more powerful and more explosive than you ever thought possible:

Step 1: The Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP)
✅ You MUST complete your Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP) before you can begin attending Strength, Power and Explosion (please note that CAP counts as your first session in the Program).
✅ After completing your CAP, we will make a personalized recommendation on a training program for you. Our programs vary between 4, 6 and 8 weeks, however you only need to attend any program just 2 days a week.
✅ CAP assessments are administered at the CP Training Studio on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 7-8pm.
✅ Your investment in our proprietary Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP) is $150.

Step 2: Enroll in Strength, Power, Explosion
✅ For optimal improvement, our recommendation is 2 sessions per week for a 3-month period.
✅ Upon completion of the Carlisle Athletic Profile, you will have the opportunity to enroll in the full Strength, Power, Explosion program.
✅ Your investment for a month-to-month plan is $300 for 4 sessions/month, $420 for 6 sessions/month, or $520 for 8 sessions/month.
✅ Your investment for a 3-month subscription is $280 for 4 sessions/month, $390 for 6 sessions/month, or $480 for 8 sessions/month.

During a trial session we want you to get the real deal! So you’ll experience an actual training session to get a feel for how the program works.
Once you purchase a package, the first session will be an assessment so we have our baseline for where you’re at and can develop a program custom to your individual needs.
Coach Carlisle hasn’t just coached athletes at all levels (from youth to professional), he’s also coached thousands of coaches at those levels.
No matter if Coach Carlisle is present at your training session (which he tries to be at them all!), you’ll be receiving some of the premier coaching in the Silicon Valley from each of the coaches at Carlisle Performance.
Take-home programs are program specific. Certain month-to-month programs do not include take-homes.
The capped athlete to coach ratio is one-to-four, though it is usually one-to-three.
At our Carlisle Performance studio in San Jose, the programs are focused on developing strength, power, flexibility, mobility, short area quickness and ultimately improving ability to move from point A to point B. The coach to athlete ratio is at most one to four which allows for individual attention while working with our state-of-the-art equipment.
At Kings Academy, we have 4,000 square yards of turf to operate our F.A.S.T. speed school (Functional Athletic Speed Training) programs. As the name implies, those programs are speed intensive, working on linear speed, long speed, top speed, and multi-directional movement with the goal of improving overall game speed. Kings Academy is also where we conduct our assessments.
Currently the program times for Kings Academy are limited.
Download the Carlisle Performance app from the App Store or Google Play and register with us using your email. You’ll be able to create profiles that are specific to each dependent you have and book for them individually. It is incredibly easy!
Yes, masks are still required in our studio as it’s in a medical facility. Outside and at King’s Academy, masks are not required. We will update our guidelines as per state and local requirements as needed.
Yes. You will need to create a separate user account for each child. Book the class under your child’s email & name. Every class has to be booked into separately.
For extenuating circumstances (such as injury, which still needs to be discussed with coach for obvious reasons) yes. Otherwise, no.
A minimum of 2 days per week will get them great results, though 3 days a week will yield optimum benefit. 1 day a week does yield results, but based on research, athletes will only begin to truly benefit from training with a minimum of 2 days of instruction per week.
Login to your Carlisle Performance account, and go to My Packages then it will show you total visits and used visits. If no package is listed, you will have to share the package from your childs account to your own. Contact us for additional help.
You have 2 hours prior to your training session. Otherwise the session will close.
Your sessions do not roll over unless you are on a 3-month subscription. Up to two unused sessions will rollover automatically. Otherwise, we do allow extensions if there are extenuating circumstances such as injury, but this is on a case-by-case basis and requires a note from a medical professional. The goal is to complete your sessions in the allotted time frame so you can get optimal results.
This will be managed on a case-by-case basis. Be aware that if you try to book a middle school child into a high school program or vice versa, the system will not allow this. Please call our studio to book to arrange this.
If you want an individual nutritional consultation, that will be an additional cost which requires an appointment.
