The Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP) was developed by Master Strength and Conditioning Coach Duane Carlisle, in conjunction with leading PhDs in kinesiology and exercise physiology.

CAP scientifically identifies the weaknesses, imbalances and deficiencies in an athlete that negatively impact strength, flexibility, body composition, movement and athletic performance. Data points are then created that allow our coaches to target, train and track these weaknesses throughout the program, turning them from negatives into positives. 

All athletes are required to complete our CAP assessment prior to entering into a personal training program!

During your CAP session we want you to get the real deal! So you’ll experience an actual training session to get a feel for how the program works.

Once you purchase a package, the first session will be an assessment so we have our baseline for where you’re at and can develop a program custom to your individual needs.

Yes, we do! For an additional charge, we can come to your home or meet you at a site of your choosing.

Note: With the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in San Jose, we will be increasing our at-home training availability to help reduce the spread.

Absolutely! Our expertise lends itself well to training both individuals in the general population as well as athletes.

Sure do! We offer semi-private personal training for group of up to four.

Just contact us for information on rates and program structure.

The first step is establishing your goals of the program and getting your baseline assessments (such as your InBody body composition measurement). From there we’ll develop a program specific and unique to you to help you reach your goals.

Your Carlisle Performance Coach will provide you various suggestions of what to do between sessions, but if you’d like a full take-home program, we have them available for an additional fee.

You may book your personal training sessions with your Carlisle Performance Coach based on your mutually agreed upon schedule. From there you can book and track your personal training sessions online.

Book your sessions through the Carlisle Performance App or through the web portal by logging into your account (top right of this screen).

Yes, masks are still required in our studio as it’s in a medical facility. Outside and at King’s Academy, masks are not required. We will update our guidelines as per state and local requirements as needed.

For extenuating circumstances (such as injury, which still needs to be discussed with coach for obvious reasons) yes. Otherwise, no.
