Our Lightning Fast One-Day Speed Clinic is designed to teach you the proper mechanics of running and movement. These mechanics are critical for young athletes, as the earlier you learn these mechanics, the more effective you will be at your sport as you mature.

Here's How Our LightNing Fast One-Day Speed Clinic Works...

Our Speed Clinic is 1.5 hours long.

It is available for both middle-school and high-school athletes and is perfect for all sports.

Movement is currency when it comes to sports and we’re going to teach you how to get the most out of that currency for your particular sport. We’re going to teach you how to become quick, fast and explosive.

The clinic is broken down into three primary components; positioning, patterning and requisite power. It’s these three components that when learned early, will set you up for the highest levels of athletic success, while also minimizing your risk for injuries, as you mature as an athlete.

Here’s a closer look at what will be covered in each of these components:C


The human body has 206 bones, over 600 muscles, over 900 ligaments and over 4,000 tendons.

With so many interconnected parts, knowing how to position your body during running and movement is critical for elite athletic performance and the reduction of injury.

And that’s what we’re going to do in this part of the training. We’ll teach you how to properly position your body for all sports related running and movements.

For you that means you will learn how to maximize your genetic potential, achieve gains faster, avoid burning excess energy and minimize your risk of strained tendons, muscles and ligaments. 

After you have learned how to properly position your body during athletic running and movements, we’re going to teach you patterning drills that will make this positioning natural to you.

In other words, we’re going to train you in the techniques that will make your positioning permanent, where every time you run or move your body will automatically take the correct positions.

This patterning is critical for young athletes, as it sets them on the best path for success as they mature.

For you this means you’ll leave the Speed Clinic with your body moving in the most efficient way to achieve your athletic goals and the peace of mind that you will be minimizing the risk of future injuries.


Requisite Power

After you’ve learned the proper positioning for running and movement and it has become natural for you through patterning, it’s time to turn it into speed and power.

But more importantly, speed and power that you can control. For example, you’ll learn how to properly “put on the brakes” and then explode into a new movements safely and efficiently. Or how to control your strides so you can move faster, but with less effort.

With what you learn in this part of the training, it will feel like you are cutting, sliding, pivoting and running in all directions with lightning fast quickness. Like your body is naturally moving before your brain even tells it to. And like you have power to burn.

The One Day Speed Clinic is an introductory session geared towards teaching kids proper running mechanics. We’ll focus on and teach them our 3 components of proper running mechanics: leg action, arm action, and posture.

You will leave the clinic with better running technique to improve your performance on the playing field.

The King’s Academy – E.790 Duane, Sunnyvale, CA

Please wear comfortable athletic apparel and comfortable shoes. Please bring plenty of water.

These sessions are held on turf, we recommend wearing any type of athletic cleats (soccer, football, baseball, etc.)

Download the Carlisle Performance app from the App Store or Google Play and register with us using your email. You’ll be able to create profiles that are specific to each dependent you have and purchase packages for them individually. It is incredibly easy!

Take-home programs are program specific. Certain month-to-month programs do not include take-homes.

If there is inclement weather, you’ll receive notification via our app (be sure to have notifications turned on!) within 12 hours of your session. Coach Carlisle will send out notice if the session is cancelled or relocated to the alternate location (Carlisle Performance Center located at 1373 S. Bascom Ave, San Jose, CA 95128).
