The Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP) was developed by Master Strength and Conditioning Coach Duane Carlisle, in conjunction with leading PhDs in kinesiology and exercise physiology.

CAP scientifically identifies the weaknesses, imbalances and deficiencies in an athlete that negatively impact strength, flexibility, body composition, movement and athletic performance. Data points are then created that allow our coaches to target, train and track these weaknesses throughout the program, turning them from negatives into positives.

The Carlisle Athletic Profile is an unparalleled, unbiased high-tech, science-based fitness assessment and the gold-standard of athletic tests.

We use the assessment as a baseline for you or your child to determine fitness level and risk of injury before crafting a training program, as well as providing check-in points as you progress.

* A CAP Profile must be completed before you can attend our Strength, Power & Explosion School or begin Personal Training with us.

If you are a Strength, Power & Explosion or Personal Training client, the test costs less and is included in your package and is conducted in the first session!

The CAP assessment you will receive has been developed over decades by Duane Carlisle, a Master Strength and Conditioning coach who has spent a career working with the very athletes you watch perform on TV every week.

Coach Carlisle has worked in conjunction with leading university PhDs is developing the proprietary algorithms used in CAP, turning athletic performance into a science.

We’re not going to guess at what will make you fitter and improve your performance. We’ll use data points that are continually tracked, re-assessed and adjusted in your training, so your athletic performance can improve rapidly.

The Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP) Assessment is an unparalleled, unbiased high-tech, science-based fitness

assessment and the gold-standard of athletic tests.

The Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP) testing takes approximately 55 minutes. Please bring water and do not eat anything 2 hours before your CAP.

We will identify what your weakest link is to help improve your overall athletic performance and reduce risk of injury. For example, our speed assessment will test change of direction mechanics, running mechanics, acceleration and top-end speed.

We use the assessment as a baseline for you or your child to determine fitness level and risk of

injury before crafting a training program, as well as providing check-in points as you progress.

The CAP assessment is our cheat code to develop an effective program for the individual.

Please wear comfortable athletic apparel and shoes.

We test both individuals and teams. We can even add tests if you have a specific testing requirement for your team.

The CAP is retested every 4 weeks. It will occur in another booked session, but will not take the entire session. There is also no additional fee.

You will see your results on your profile in the app or web portal within 72 hours OR via email at the end of the month, depending on your program specific.

We do not provide normative data because our emphasis for all our assessments is for you as an individual. Everything we do is custom-to-you based on your starting points and your strengths and weaknesses.
